Cool dry weather to start off the work week, hot by the end of the work week.
TOMORROW: A mix of clouds and sun; comfortable. High: 74. TOMORROW NIGHT: Turning out mostly clear late; comfortably cool again. Low: 54. Not really much change to the forecast today. Dry and calm weather remains in place this afternoon and evening. An area of high pressure continues to sit over the region throughout this week keeping us dry. Can’t rule out an isolated shower today and tomorrow, however most will stay dry. Highs will remain in the mid 70s for today and tomorrow. Temperatures will start to climb back up into the 80s starting on Wednesday and keep on climbing until Friday where we will probably see our first 90 of the year here in Allentown. A cold front will pass through Friday night bringing some showers Friday night into Saturday morning. The cold front will also cool down the temperatures a bit dropping our high for Saturday into the low 80s. But temperatures will start climbing back up again on Sunday with highs in the mid 80s and the 90s returning by Monday to start off the new work week. Father’s Day weekend looks dry as well with the thank to an area of high pressure that will move over the region once again. The only exception to the dry weather will be on Friday night when the cold front passes through. Otherwise, dry conditions look to remain in place for the start of the new work week as well.
