Triangle Tech closing all Pa. schools, including 1 in Bethlehem, after 80 years
A tech school that operates in Bethlehem and five other Pennsylvania locations announced it will close after 80 years in operation. Triangle Tech announced the decision to close on June 5. The school’s President Emeritus Timothy McMahon cited the COVID-19 pandemic, changes in the industry landscape, government regulations, economic changes and declining enrollment as reasons why the school is closing.

Driver Killed After 10-Mile Pursuit With PSP Identified By Lehigh Coroner
Troopers were attempting to stop Matthew Stepp, of Lehighton, in a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 for code violations around 6:24 p.m. Thursday, Trooper Anthony Petroski III said. Stepp failed to stop, though, initiating a 10-mile pursuit, during which Stepp "committed numerous vehicle code violations," Petroski said. He ultimately lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree near Hazelwood Road and Laural Lane, Towamensing Township, according to Petroski and Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - The Lopatcong Town Council adopted its 2024 municipal budget of $12.5 million June 5, 2024. Total appropriations stand at $12,536,409.40, and the amount to be raised by taxes is $6,063,907, representing a .2 cent increase in local tax of $51 for the average township homeowner, with the median home value set at $231,000. Coroner IDs man dead after truck crash in Williams Township
WILLIAMS TWP., Pa. -- The Northampton County coroner has identified the 25-year-old Philadelphia man who is dead after a crash in Williams Township. The man was identified as Rashon Christian-James Cooke, according to Northampton County coroner Zachary Lysek. The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, Lysek said.
