Here are highlights and scores of Friday night’s high school football games involving Columbus area teams in Week 10 of the 2026 GHSA, GIAA and AHSAA season. Kendrick 20, Jordan 10 The Kendrick Cherokees (3-5) defeated the Jordan Red Jackets (2-7) 20-10 at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium in Columbus, where the Cherokees celebrated senior night and homecoming. Kendrick senior quarterback Amare Hill threw for three touchdown passes as the Cherokees jumped out to a 20-0 lead. Hill’s first touchdown pass went to sophomore wide receiver Christian English. The Cherokees converted on the two-point conversion to make it 8-0 after having great field position when the Kendrick defense forced a turnover on a strip sack in Jordan territory. The story in the second quarter was both defenses getting stops and forcing punts, but Kendrick started driving again, and Hill threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver Jonathan Williams.
