Police K-9 finds man hiding in garage after he ran from troopers
LANSING, MI – Charges are pending against a 25-year-old Lansing man who fled from police during a traffic stop, Michigan State Police said. Troopers were conducting surveillance around 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, in the 800 block of North Capitol Avenue in Lansing for a man who was wanted on numerous felony warrants.
After Devoted Barn seizures, this horse rescue stepped up
DEERFIELD TWP. — In January, a Deerfield Township horse rescue became a refuge for 64 farms animals seized by law enforcement from The Devoted Barn. Horses' Haven, a nonprofit rescue located north of Howell, helped deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff's Office collect pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, a llama, and an alpaca from a wooded property in Tyrone Township where The Devoted Barn had been keeping them.
