Coeur d'Alene Ranger District asking for input on two Shoshone County project proposals

COEUR D'ALENE, ID. — The Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District is asking for public comment on two project proposals in Shoshone County.

Idaho Panhandle National Forests says the Shoshone Park Restroom Replacement project would install two double stall vault toilets to replace the toilets, improve accessibility and decommission cesspools there.

The other project, the Little Guard Lookout Restoration Project would complete recommended restoration work to the Little Guard Lookout and Rental Cabin, which would include replacing roof systems, stair stringers, windows and shutters.

Idaho Panhandle National Forests says public comment will be accepted through May 7, 2024.
