Legion Baseball Substate Tournaments Continue Over the Weekend
(KWMN)- The Rushford Legion Jr. and Sr. teams as well as the Winona LeJetz continue their Legion Baseball substate tournaments today and over the weekend if all goes well. For the Rushford Post 94 Jr. team, they were dealt a shocking blow in the opening round of substate. Chatfield scored four runs in the opening inning and the Post 94 juniors couldn’t find the comeback. They now move to the loser’s bracket of the substate tournament, where they’ll face St. Charles later tonight. From here on out it’s win or go home. They will play Monday with a win, and potentially having a double header on Tuesday before the substate final on Aug. 1st, if they win out.
