Childress Creek WSC offers scholarship

The directors of the Childress Creek Water Supply Corporation have created a scholarship fund for those students living in and being a part of the Childress Creek Water Supply Corporation.

The scholarship fund has been named the Calvin Rueter and Dr. Lloyd Hampe (Vet. Med.) Scholarship Fund.

Calvin has been with Childress Creek before its conception and served for many years as the president. Dr. Hampe supplied leadership to the board in multiple capacities for well over 14 years.

This annual memorial scholarship, honoring these two most important and honored directors of Childress Creek Water Supply Corporation, shall be available to all graduating high school students living within and being a part of the Childress Creek Water Supply Corps.

Those students intending to further their education by enrolling and attending any educational institute are welcome to apply.

College, junior college, trade school, nursing school, and other institutions of learning are eligible for this scholarship.

Two (2) scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded.
