One of the fastest-rising prospects in the state just might be offensive lineman Zyon Guiles.

The 2026 recruit, out of Carvers Bay, has seen his stock quickly start to rise in recent weeks after outstanding performances at a couple of camps. One was the Carolina Coaches Combine, where he earned MVP honors back in March.

“I’m really proud of myself, because this area, there’s a lot of talent that goes unseen,” Guiles told The Clemson Insider. “I’ve been waking up at five in the morning to go work out, and I’ve just really been putting in the work. I’m thinking, I’m starting to see that I really deserve all of the stuff that I’m receiving, and I just give all my praise to God.”

Wake Forest and Virginia Tech both offered last week, his first two Power-5 offers, and with Guiles planning to make several camp stops this summer, that list will undoubtedly start to grow in the coming weeks.

The 6-foot-5, 292-pound recruit plans to camp at NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, South Carolina and possibly Florida State. He will make a stop at Clemson on June 5, the second summer in a row that he will have camped at Clemson. He also visited for Elite Junior Day in March and took a game day visit last season.

However, last summer when he attended camp, Matt Luke was not yet on the staff and Guiles is anxious to get to work in front of one of the Tigers’ newest assistant coaches.

“I want to show that I have really improved since last time they saw me,” Guiles said. “I want to get a better connection with Matt Luke. We have a pretty good relationship right now but I want him to see me move in person, and make sure that everything that he’s seen is actually true.”

Having grown up rooting for the Tigers, the ultimate goal of coming to camp this summer is earn that coveted Clemson offer, putting him one step closer to fulfilling a childhood dream of running down the hill.

“It would mean so much to me,” Guiles said. “Me and my family have loved Clemson since I was two, three years old. I think my first time visiting Clemson, I was about 11. I still have the picture. I was standing right next to the uniforms. And really, whenever I get that scholarship or offer, I can’t wait to repost it and say, ‘This is what I’ve been working for.'”

“One of the biggest things I’ve been looking forward to is running down that hill. That would be one of the most exciting parts, for sure.”
