    Projecting Clemson’s Lineup For 2024-25

Brad Brownell said Clemson needed one more piece in the frontcourt and it took no time for the Tigers to land Duke transfer Christian Reeves.

That could be the last piece of the puzzle and now it’s all about finding out where everything fits. Clemson will look very different in the 2024-’25 season, but projecting the lineup makes sense given how Brownell plugged in through the portal.

    Starting Lineup

    G Chase Hunter

    G Jaeden Zackery

    F Chauncey Wiggins

    F Ian Schieffelin

    F Viktor Lakhin

The losses in the starting lineup are replaced by the transfers as the Tigers turn the page. This is with the expectation that Hunter is returning and that could have a major impact on how things play out. Brownell said earlier in the week that he felt good about Hunter’s return to Tiger Town for one more season.

Pairing the return of Hunter and Schieffelin is all Brownell could ask for with elite producers from the Elite Eight run. Zackery provides playmaking and reliable defense while Lakhin is a great replacement for the loss of PJ Hall.

Wiggins is the lone question mark as his development plays a key factor. Should he take another step, Clemson has an impressive starting five. Otherwise, Brownell could go to a smaller group.

    Bench

    Jake Heidbreder

    Dillon Hunter

    Christian Reeves

    Ace Buckner(freshman)

    Dallas Thomas(freshman)

    Del Jones(freshman)

Last season, Clemson rotated a lot of players off the bench. It could be a bit different early this coming season. The introduction of Heidbreder and Reeves are very helpful but the latter is raw after limited playing time as a Blue Devil.

Still, Reeves size and defensive prowess could make for a quick step in improvement. Heidbreder is a true shooter while Dillon Hunter provides the play making off the bench.

Three incoming freshmen could see minutes early and that could make the Tigers far deeper as a team once Clemson gets rolling into the season.
