While Clemson currently boasts one of the five best classes in the 2025 recruiting cycle, there is still more work to be done.
With the big official visit weekend rapidly approaching, the Tigers are entering a crucial stretch when it comes to putting some of the finishing touches on a class that already has 11 commitments.

So what is left for Clemson as we head into the summer months? Here is a position-by-position breakdown of where the Tigers are still looking to add.
Quarterback: Clemson is done at the position in 2025. Hebert was Garrett Riley’s hand-picked guy after having watched him throw multiple times last year, including at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp.
Running Back: As with quarterback, the Tigers are also done at running back. Davidson is arguably one of the five-best backs in the class and he was always the player the staff wanted at the position.
Wide Receiver: Expect one more wideout to be added to the class and it almost certainly will be first come, first serve. With Preston filling the need of a slot guy, expect the next take to be a bigger-bodied receiver that can play on the outside. Right now, the names to know are 4-stars Cortez Mills and Samari Reed, with both expected to attend the big official visit weekend.
Tight End: The staff is also done at tight end. After signing two in 2024, Brooking will be the only take in 2025.
Offensive Line: The Tigers have already secured two bigtime commitments in Jacobs and Ware and could take as many as three more. The official visit weekend will end up playing a pivotal role in how the class of offensive linemen shakes out. With elite-level talents like 5-star David Sanders, 4-star Mario Nash Jr and 3-stars Mal Waldrep and Max Buchanan expected to be on hand, Matt Luke will have the opportunity to sign a special class in his first year on the staff.
Defensive End: With Campbell and Watford already on board, Clemson will be adding two of the better prospects in the class. It is possible the Tigers add one more end but surely not a given. It might just depend on who that player is. For example, 4-star Bryce Davis will be in attendance for the official visit weekend, and he would absolutely be a take.
Defensive Tackle: The staff will likely add one more tackle to the class to go along with Adams. 4-star Christian Garrett will take an official to Clemson that first weekend in June and then announce on July 20. The finalists are Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee.
Linebacker: Right now the Tigers have no linebackers committed and are expected to sign just one on this class. 4-star Kamar Archie is the only player at the position expected to be on hand for the official visit weekend. He also takes officials to Texas A&M, Rutgers and Michigan.
Safety: Clemson needs at least one more safety to pair with Harris. 4-star Gregory Xavier Thomas is one of the names to keep an eye on.
Cornerback: The Tigers have yet to land a commitment from a corner in this recruiting cycle but are expected to take at least two. 4-star Graceson Littleton, as well as 3-stars Mark Manfred and Donovan Starr are some of the uncommitted targets with an offer.
