Tigers in Top Group for Elite Safety Prospect

An elite safety in the 2025 class named Clemson among his top schools Monday evening.

Monroe (N.C.) High School four-star Jordan Young announced a top eight that includes the Tigers along with Alabama, NC State, Michigan, Texas A&M, North Carolina, Florida State and Tennessee.

The 6-foot, 175-pound rising senior is ranked as high as the No. 29 overall prospect in the nation for the 2025 class by 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 2 safety nationally.

Young has traveled to Tiger Town multiple times, including in late March after attending Clemson’s elite junior day in late January. He received an offer from the Tigers at the Dabo Swinney Camp last summer and later visited for the Florida State game in the fall.

Young is slated to officially visit Clemson during its May 31-June 2 official visit weekend.
