A former Clemson player announced his transfer destination over the weekend.

Graduate forward Jack Clark revealed via social media Sunday that he has committed to transfer to VCU.

Clark re-entered the NCAA transfer portal in early April. He transferred to Clemson ahead of the 2023-24 season after playing at NC State in 2022-23. He began his college career at La Salle and spent four years there, including the 2019-20 season when he medically redshirted.

In his season at Clemson, Clark averaged 4.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 39.8 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from 3 and 76.9 percent from the free-throw line. He missed time due to injury but ended up playing in 25 games (17 starts) and averaged 23.5 minutes per game.

At NC State in 2022-23, he averaged 9.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 23 games (17 starts).

A native of Cheltenham, Pa., Clark is a former three-star recruit according to both 247Sports and ESPN, the latter of which ranked him as the No. 4 player in the state of Pennsylvania’s Class of 2018.

Clark is one of several Tigers that have entered the transfer portal since the end of the 2023-24 season, along with Alex Hemenway , RJ Godfrey and Josh Beadle.

The Tigers have picked up transfer commitments from Boston College guard Jaeden Zackery and Cincinnati center Viktor Lakhin .
