INDIANA (WFFT) - Six area shelters are participating in the BISSELL Pet Foundation's "Empty the Shelters" adoption event. Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control, 3020 Hillegas Road, and all offsite locations (Covington Veterinary Hospital, 6104 Covington Rd., Westside Animal Hospital, 4550 Illinois Rd., New Haven Pet Hospital, 227 IN-930, New Haven, Black Forest Cat Café, 4716 Coldwater Rd., Pet Supplies Plus, 4717 Coldwater Rd., 6326 W. Jefferson Boulevard, 6101 Stellhorn Rd., PetSmart Stores 1760 Apple Glen Boulevard, 10035 Lima Road, 10260 Maysville Rd.) - $50 adoption fee for dogs between 2 months and 6 years old, fees waived for dogs 7 years old and older, "Pick Your Price" for all cats and small animals.
Downtown DORA set to be implemented Sunday, Cinco de Mayo
