FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Artlink is set to open 3 solo exhibitions all at once for its newest exhibit in downtown Fort Wayne.

3 artist, one from Fort Wayne, will have their artwork on display for a month for the Fort Wayne community to come check out. The local artist, Norman Ziolkowski, had over 10 pieces of art all sculpted out by wood. His exhibit is called “Contours in Wood”.

The other 2 exhibits are called This too, shall pass and Ebb and Flow. This too, shall pass is a exhibit that creates large-scale graphite drawings on paper. The artist, Mayuko Ono Gray, hybridizes influences from traditional Japanese calligraphy with Western drawing practices and aesthetics in her solo exhibition.

Ebb and Flow incorporates natural elements such as sunlight and homemade walnut inks to produce non-traditional prints on translucent Kozo paper. The artist, Marilee Salvator, has shown her work all over the world, but is excited to share her work for the first time in Fort Wayne.

“This is my first time being in Fort Wayne! Everyone here has been so nice and I’m looking forward to showing my work to this wonderful city. Being able to use natural elements into my work makes it that much more special, and to show that to new people is great.”
