Orthodox Easter celebration and banquet set

CHISHOLM – Orthodox Christian Easter Celebration (PASCHA) is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, at St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church, 543 Southwest Sixth St. in Chisholm.

Easter Service is at 10 a.m. with a festive banquet following in the big hall. Everyone is welcome!

Burger bash benefit for Precious Paws

A burger bash is taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Jim's Sports Club to raise funds for a new heating unit at Precious Paws Humane Society of Chisholm.

There will also be a silent auction during the event.

Ticket preorders for the Precious Paws Burger Bash are available at $12 per person and can be purchased by calling 218-966-9000. Ticket includes a hamburger, pickles, coleslaw, a cookie, and chips. Also, if you would prefer to have your burger at home, there is a carry-out option, as well as a delivery option for orders over $40.

CHS Class of 1966 to meet

CHISHOLM – The Chisholm Class of 1966 will meet for their monthly lunch at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Valentini’s in Chisholm. All ‘66 snowbirds, classmates and/or spouses and friends are welcome.
