End of an Era: Parker steps down at Chippewa Falls
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - After 37-years on the bench as the Chippewa Falls boys hockey coach, Scott Parker is stepping down. This past season, Parker led the Cardinals to the Big Rivers Conference championship, finishing conference play undefeated. It was the schools first conference title since early in Parker’s career in 1989.

Cycling Without Age seeks Chippewa Valley volunteers
ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -You can share the joy of riding a bike with others by helping with a Wisconsin Bike Federation program that has expanded in the Chippewa Valley. Cycling Without Age is an international program available at different locations throughout the Chippewa Valley and Wisconsin. The program looks to give adults in senior living facilities and adults with disabilities, among other groups, the experience of riding a bike with the help of volunteers and a trishaw. A trishaw is a three-wheeled pedal-powered electric bike with seating for passengers. Cycling Without Age Educator For the Wisconsin Bike Fed, Linda Soltis-Schroeder said participating locations like Grace Lutheran Communities, Grace Willowbrook, Dove Healthcare South, Dove Healthcare West, and Augusta Health and Rehabilitation are seeking volunteers to pilot the trishaws.
