Driver arrested after 2 suspected DUI crashes in Chico early Friday
CHICO, Calif. - A man was arrested for DUI after two early morning crashes in Chico. Another driver followed the suspect and helped police track him down the driver. The crashes happened around 1:15 a.m. Friday. A white Porsche was headed out of downtown Chico when it slammed into the railing on Camellia Way at the bridge over Big Chico Creek. Chico Police Lt. Terry Tupper told Action News Now that the same car was involved in another crash just minutes earlier at 3rd and Main Streets in downtown Chico.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - 3:24 P.M. UPDATE - The Butte County Sheriff's Office said the person who was killed in the shooting has been identified as Richard Kelly, 61, of Chico. On Tuesday night, a neighbor told Action News Now that Butte County deputies responded to a trailer on Shenandoah Lane, which is east of Oroville near Robinson Hill.

CHICO, Calif. - A woman was arrested on Monday for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, felony vandalism and resisting arrest, Chico Police said. Chico Police Dispatch Center received calls at about 4 p.m. about a disturbance in the 200 block of W. 17th Street about a person approaching homes and cars armed with a knife.
