The Philadelphia 76ers Hall of Famer Charles Barkley did not hold back his emotions when talking about the current relationship between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen .

Sir Charles shared the locker room with the dynamic duo on the Dream Team, and although his relationship with both wasn't perfect, he once shared a connection with Chicago Bulls legends. So when Shannon Sharpe asked him if he thinks that MJ's son Marcus getting involved with Pippen's ex-wife Larsa had a weight on the deterioration of their relationship, Barkley responded with a rousing "Hell yeah."

"If you win six championships together, y'all should be damn near blood brothers, so that's the thing I feel most bad, " said Barkley.

The internet isn't a place for messy

Jordan and Pippen were the best one-two punch during the '90s, and are one of the best duos of all time. They led the Bulls to six NBA championships during that decade, winning them via a pair of three-peats in the most dominant run since the 60's Boston Celtics.

Long after their retirement, however, the former teammates aren't even friends anymore. The two had their share of disagreements in the past, but it was during the release of 'The Last Dance' that Pippen went ballistic against Mike. But little did we know that one year before the documentary was released, Marcus and Larsa already met, and a storm was probably starting to brew.

"I feel bad for Michael, I feel bad for Scottie. That is so messy. I don't like messy because when it's messy, everybody has an opinion on it. And the internet isn't a place for messy. And you have to understand, it's a lot of kids involved. And people are mean. And it's unfortunate," added Barkley.

MJ and Pippen's relationship will never be the same

Scottie and Larsa's divorce was finalized in 2021. Rumors of a relationship between Marcus and Larsa began to circulate the following year. They admitted to having a relationship last year. The pair even joined the podcast fad by having their own called 'Separation Anxiety' before calling it quits just a couple of months ago.

"There are no winners. There's only losers," Barkley told Sharpe. "Michael and Scottie's relationship will never be the same."

Pippen recently went on his 'No Bull Tour' in Australia along with former Bulls teammates Luc Longley and Horace Grant, purportedly to share the real side of the stories that His Airness mistold at 'The Last Dance.' MJ hasn't really said anything bad about Scottie, but as Stephen A. Smith recently reported , Jordan addressed the situation by saying, 'I hope it was worth it.'
