8News speaks with owner of ML Steakhouse ahead of Chesterfield Restaurant Week

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — During the first-ever Chesterfield Restaurant Week , which will take place from Friday, March 29 through Sunday, April 7, dozens of restaurants will be offering various food specials for guests to sample, with a percentage of proceeds going to the Chesterfield Food Bank.
8News Anchors Delaney Hall and Autumn Childress sat down with Chef Mike Lindsey, Chesterfield Chamber member and co-owner of Lindsey Food Group. Lindsey expressed his excitement about being involved in Chesterfield Restaurant Week and being involved in the community upon the opening of his new restaurant in the county.
“I think people need to get out and have an opportunity to try things they wouldn’t try,” said Lindsey. “Its ten days for you to be able to stretch it out.”
Lindsey opened his first restaurant in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has just opened his 12th restaurant in the area, ML Steakhouse at Chesterfield Towne Center.
“There is a lot of local restaurants in this area that do an incredible job,” Lindsey said. “We’re happy to be in Chesterfield, and I think its going to be something that’s really cool for the area.”
