Saginaw man on moped suffers severe injuries in crash with vehicle
SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man has been hospitalized after suffering serious injuries in a collision near the Saginaw Childrens’ Zoo. The crash occurred at 10:19 p.m. on May 6, when a 44-year-old man was riding his moped south on South Washington Ave./M-13 and crossing Ezra Rust Drive. A 23-year-old woman was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox north on Washington toward westbound Ezra Rust when she crossed into the moped’s path, said Saginaw Police Detective Sgt. Matthew Gerow.
