Chattanooga State Softball Wins Pair Against Cleveland State
The Cleveland State softball team couldn't pull a win out at Chattanooga State on Wednesday. Three days after the Cougars (31-13, 19-13) split two games at home against the Tigers (36-11, 27-5) knocking them out of first place, Chattanooga State was able to take two winning game one 7-2 and game two 5-2. The Tigers didn't take long to get their offense going scoring all seven of their game one runs in the first three innings. Cleveland State did put up a couple runs, but were unable to plate enough on Chattanooga State's pitcher Emily Marks (11-4).

Matt Dill Grand Slam Lifts Baylor Over McCallie 7-4
Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Matt Dill hit a key grand slam to send Baylor past McCallie 7-4 on Monday evening at Kenny Sholl Stadium. With the game tied at three in the top of the 6th, Dill stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs. He hit the first pitch he saw over the left field fence for the grand slam to make it 7-3. Red Raiders went on to win it 7-4.
