The Northfield Winter Walk Ornament Hunt is back. The Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce is offering the winner a purse of $1,000 in Chamber bucks, thanks to some generous sponsors. New adult strings ensemble to perform during Winter Walk
After three rehearsals, a new adult strings group appropriately called “Strings, Bows and Contentment” will perform its first public concert during Thursday’s Winter Walk. The 15-member group composed of violins, cellos, violas, bass and a piano, is led by Laura Geissler, a Suzuki violin teacher. Northfield boys basketball hopes to take advantage of move down in class
The upcoming 2023-24 season will offer Northfield High School boys basketball fans a few changes from last year’s squad that finished the season with a 15-12 overall record and a 13-9 record in the always rugged Big 9 Conference under the leadership of first-year coach Matt Christensen.
