Third annual Jane's Walk comes to downtown Ellsworth
ELLSWORTH -- Heart of Ellsworth, GrowSmart Maine, and the Ellsworth Historical Society will host the third annual Jane’s Walk in downtown Ellsworth on May 4, 2024. According to a release from Heart of Ellsworth, the Jane's Walk festival takes place in more than 2100 cities and towns around the world, and nearly 50 walks will be happening across Maine.

SEARSMONT — A community is helping a family recover from a devastating fire that took the life of their dog on Sunday night, April 21. Jennifer Strazzulla, a staff member of Hope School and Lincolnville Central School, her husband, Chris, and their two young sons lost all their belongings in the fire, which consumed the entire two-story structure that sat along a single-lane dirt road parallel to Route 173, not far from the Lincolnville town line.
