Stuart Man Facing Several Charges
A Stuart man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. According to court documents, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alleged domestic disturbance at 2:12am on February 12th at a residence in the 1300 block of Stuart Road. The victims told the deputy that a verbal argument turned physical as 46-year-old Lee Goll threw a bottle at the TV and ripped the TV off of the wall and threw it across the room.
Adair County Arrest Report; Man Arrested for Robbery, Kidnapping and Other Charges
(Adair Co) An Ankeny man was arrested in Adair County on numerous charges including Robbery and Kidnapping. The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Lee Delmar Goll was arrested on the warrant on February 16th and held on $300,000 cash only bond. He was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Kidnapping 3rd Degree, Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by a Domestic Abuse Offender, Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by a Felon, Going Armed with Intent, two counts of Harassment 1st Degree, and Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense.

Early Morning Harvest Hosting Garden Planning Class at Panora Library
Next Monday a Panora business will be hosting a free garden planning class. Early Morning Harvest will be holding the class from 5:15-6:15pm at the Panora Public Library. The highly qualified individuals of Early Morning Harvest will help guide individuals as they prepare for the gardening season. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office Bringing Back Old Rescue Program To Assist Emergency Services In Severe Snow Storms
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is preparing for snow by returning a program used throughout the county around 20-30 years ago. With the last blizzard that occurred earlier this year, Sheriff Marty Arganbright says the law enforcement often had to get out of their vehicles and walk to check on stranded vehicles but wondered how the department could assist if there were an actual emergency. The Sheriff’s office is looking for volunteers to join the snowmobile rescue and response team. Arganbright says they got a great response throughout the county about implementing this program again.
