New Sturgeon Bay restaurant has 'elevated pub food' and its own spice
Sturgeon Bay's newest restaurant has a name familiar to Door County diners at the helm, and he's not only bringing it his diverse take on what he calls "elevated pub food" but also selling the spice blend that helped those flavors become popular with his customers. Eric Leyendecker opened West Side Commons in early December in the bright blue building on the West Side of downtown at 26 E. Oak St. and began selling his proprietary Kitchen Daddy's Meat Maker seasoning from the restaurant in February.
