    Carthage police searching for missing woman

    CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carthage Police Department (CPD) is searching for a woman who was last seen at Walmart in the early morning hours of May 6.

    According to a Facebook post from CPD , 29-year-old Marissa Carlson was last seen around 4 a.m. at the Walmart in Carthage.

    Carlson is five feet, three inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue, fluffy jacket.

    CPD said Carlson also has burn marks on both forearms, a feather tattoo on her lower back, and a medical symbol on her left hip. Carlson may also have Asperger’s syndrome, but is undiagnosed and does not take medication.

    Anyone with information on Carlson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact CPD at 417-237-7200.
