UPDATE: The National Weather Service is still trying to get to Coyne Center this afternoon to survey the damage there. They have already confirmed a tornado near Wellman, IA with winds of about 100 miles per hour this morning. They’re also investigating what could have been a tornado near Lone Tree, IA and are hoping to get to Coyne Center today.
Athens man feels impact of insulin shortage

Construction of new multi-million dollar hotel underway in Springfield
Springfield will soon see a new $13 million hotel on South MacArthur Boulevard, just a short walk away from the future Scheels Sports Park complex. Construction of the new Fairfield Inn hotel is currently set to be complete in July 2025.
