CAMBRIDGE — The Cambridge Police Department is investigating two robberies.

One of the incidents was reported as an armed car jacking and robbery. According to a press release from the Cambridge Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of Skinners Court at around 10 p.m. on May 13.

Police said upon arrival, officers met with the victim who told them he had given a woman a ride to Skinners Court at her request. Police said the victim reported that after the woman exited the car and walked to the side of a residence, three to four men came out from the side of the house with three handguns.

Police said the victim reported that the men, described as African American men wearing dark clothing and face masks, took things from the victim's pockets and from around his neck before one of the men entered the vehicle and fled. The other men were seen running away from the area toward Greenwood Avenue, police said.

The vehicle was found abandoned in the 400 block of Camper Street through OnStar tracking. During a K9 track, items stolen from the victim were found.

Another robbery was reported in the afternoon of May 10 when officers responded to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge about a report of a victim with stab wounds. Police said that on the scene, officers talked with a man who reported he had been robbed and assaulted in the area of Race Street and Bayly Avenue.

Police said the victim reported he was leaving the Beverage Barn when two 12-to-14-year-old boys tackled him off his bicycle. Police said the victim reported being stabbed in the upper left chest. The bicycle, which was reported stolen, is described as a dark navy blue 21 speed Schwinn mountain bike with 26 inch wheels, an old exercise seat and a gray Barbie doll basket.

Police said the two young teens were described as African American and were reported wearing blue jeans, white t-shirts, black face masks and black zip-up hoodies.

Both investigations are on-going. In the news release, police said anyone with information relating to either incident should contact the department at 410-228-3333. All callers can remain anonymous.

The incident at the medical center was not the only stabbing that occurred on May 10 in Cambridge. According to the news release, an argument that broke out in the 700 block of Foxtail Drive resulted in one person being stabbed in the buttock.

Davon Maurice Young, 34, and Colleen Donea Randall, 44, both of Cambridge, were placed under arrest for the incident. Young was charged with second-degree assault and Randall was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

Police said officers responded to a call of a physical disturbance around 3:45 p.m. and observed Young and Randall with signs of injury. It was reported that an argument started over claims of Randall being unfaithful, police said.

According to the news release, it was reported that Young slapped Randall and then Randall grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Young in the butt. During the fight, Randall received a laceration to the neck and Young got a bloody nose, police said.

After being transported to the police department for processing, Young was taken for treatment to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center by Dorchester County Emergency Medical Services, police said.

Both Young and Randall are being held at the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on no bond.
