James Kenan High School - Tristan Diaz
BIOGRAPHY: My name is Tristan Diaz and I am currently attending James Kenan High School in Warsaw, NC, and dual-enrolled at James Sprunt Community College. I have two older sisters, one pursuing cosmetology, and the other currently attending Appalachian State University. As for me, I played football from fifth grade up until the end of my senior year, and I did it despite being hard of hearing and having a hearing aid implanted when I was in eighth grade. I also participated in track in field, making it all the way to regionals in my junior year. At home, have two cows that I take care of, which were quite a hassle when they were calves. Now, in the fall of 2024, I plan to attend North Carolina State University at the College of Engineering. Going to live somewhere besides the rural county of Duplin is exciting, and I can’t wait to see what people I meet and what things I learn!
