The Floyd County Commission approved a $2.1 million contract with Pennant Construction for the renovation of the former Glenwood school in Armuchee as the new headquarters for the county police. Area Cases Involving Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Attack Pending
Three cases involving Northwest Georgia men who allegedly participated in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol are still pending in Washington D.C. District court.
