CALHOUN — Buc-ee’s staff alerted police that a man was filming the buttocks of women, and at least one young teen, without their consent at the Buc-ee’s off I-75 in Gordon County. According to Calhoun Police Department reports: Luke Ebbinghaus, 25, was arrested Saturday evening at Buc-ee’s, 601 Union Grove Road, and charged with the use or installation of a device to film underneath or through an individual’s clothing. ...

The Kingston Police Department is hunting for the brazen thieves who stole a white pickup truck and then rammed it through the front of the Mobil gas station at 130 Main St. in an early morning smash-and-grab today. The suspects made off with an ATM but abandoned both the machine and the truck in a remote area of Kingston, leaving behind a trail of destruction and significantly damaging the building.
Northwest Georgia Housing Authority Begins Instituting 'Moving To Work' Program
The Northwest Georgia Housing Authority is moving forward with plans to institute a work-specific program to get residents moving toward self-sufficiency. Under the Moving to Work program, each resident from the age of 18 to 62, with a few caveats, would have to work at least 15 hours a week. Residents who are in school, primary caregivers to children under the age of 6 and others with health conditions are exempted from the requirement. ...

Shots were fired into two East Rome homes over the weekend as police continue to investigate a consistently high number of firearms stolen from, mostly, unlocked vehicles.
