Rochester, N.Y. — There are more than 1,600 new college graduates in Western New York. Monroe Community College held its 61st annual graduation ceremony Thursday night. "I started in 2003 as a high school graduate — but, of course, life came. I went through life, had children, got married and came back two years ago, said Leeandrea Carlton.
