Vermont police investigating crash that killed 3
BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) - Three people are dead after a two-car crash in Berlin, Vermont, on Saturday, and now police have released the names of the victims. Police responded to the intersection of Route 62 and Airport Road to find both drivers dead, as well as the lone passenger of one of the vehicles.

Shooting threat renews calls for enhanced security at Vermont State House
MONTPELIER, Vt. — A threat of violence against the Vermont State House in Montpelier has prompted renewed calls for improved security. The head of the Capitol Police, Chief John Poleway, told NBC5 News a shooting threat Monday prompted a lockdown of all entrances to the State House. It also led to additional interior and exterior patrols by officers, Poleway said. He added that while there was no evacuation, everyone inside was notified of the threat in case they wanted to work remotely.
