TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A Wall Street Journal survey discovered that over half of Americans believe a four-year degree just isn’t worth the money invested. According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, there was a decline in enrollment for graduate and undergraduate students by 685,000 students in the Spring of 2022. Trade school enrollment is on the rise which is great considering there are many needs for trade workers in today’s market. There is a tremendous shortage of trade workers; there is currently a need for approximately 500,000 construction workers, 600,000 auto technicians, and 800,000 manufacturing jobs as well as carpenters.
