Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo's Common Council has approved a renewal of the City's funding agreement with the Beverly Gray Business Exchange Center, promising $500,000 to the Exchange through the end of the year. That money will be used to buy goods and provide services at the Exchange. Located at 334 E. Utica Street, the organization helps Black entrepreneurs in Buffalo grow their businesses.

Rachel's Mediterranean is closing its locations in Syracuse and Fort Worth, TX to focus on its Buffalo area locations, according to Buffalo Business First. They currently have a new Rachel's location in the works at 3030 Niagara Falls Boulevard and another in Orchard Park. Regarding the closures, company president Joseph Khoury told Business First "Sometimes you have to take a step back to take a giant leap forward."

The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls will host a Health Fair next Friday, May 24th from 9am to 1pm. The fair will feature on site blood pressure and vital sign screenings.
