Randolph VFW Visits Township Cemeteries to Honor Veterans With Flags Placed on Graves
RANDOLPH, NJ- Randolph Townships VFW Post 7333 was honored to keep up their annual tradition of placing small flags at the headstones of Veterans who have been laid to rest in seven Township cemeteries on Friday, May 24th. Pictured in the photo above from left to right are Post Commander Angel Soto, Past District Commander Col. (Ret.) Steve Niblett, Jerry Rubin, John Freudenberg, Ken Lareau, Adjutant/Chaplain Deacon Rich Reck, Glenn Young, and Vice Commander Bill Menzel. On May 27th, the VFW Post will further honor the weekend with their annual Memorial Day ceremony at their building located at 103 Carrell Road. This will include prayers, a Rifle Salute and the playing of Taps. The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM and typically lasts about 25–30 minutes. All residents are invited to help honor the patriots who died in our nation's many wars.
