It’s always scary for a coach to disrupt the normal practice procedure. Final exams week did that for the UL Ragin’ Cajuns and Troy softball teams. Add an unusual Thursday series opener and a 90-minute rain delay and coach Gerry Glasco’s No. 17-ranked Cajuns didn’t adjust well enough at all in a 3-0 loss to Troy at Lamson Park.
CCHS WR Barham signs to be a Troy Trojan
Throughout Chad Barham’s high school career at Chester County, he has been a vital component to the Eagles’ offense and has always been a target for his quarterbacks. His skill and love for the game earned him the opportunity to sign with Troy University last Friday to continue his career. While at Chester County he surpassed 2500 receving yards; earned the title of Wide Receiver of the Year for the Region both his junior and senior years, and was on the First Team All-Region both years.

Cajuns' once five-game Sun Belt lead now down to one after second loss at Troy
After getting run-ruled in Friday’s series opener, the UL Ragin’ Cajuns could not bounce back in Saturday’s game two against the Troy Trojans in Troy, Alabama. The Trojans defeated the Cajuns 8-4 on Saturday as UL's lead in the Sun Belt standings dwindled to one game. The Cajuns dropped to 33-15 overall and 17-6 while Troy is now 34-14 and 16-7.
