    Man, 74, pushed to ground in unprovoked Brooklyn attack

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a man accused of pushing a 74-year-old man to the ground in an unprovoked attack in Brooklyn over the weekend.

    It happened at approximately 1:13 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, in the vicinity of 86th Street and West 8th Street in Gravesend.

    According to officials, the 74-year-old man was walking northbound on 86th Street when he was approached by the suspect who pushed him to the ground.

    The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

    The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of this incident and refused medical attention.

    The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, a black pair of jeans, a black skullcap, and white/gray color sneakers.
