ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A woman is accused of driving drunk after a high-speed rollover crash at the corner of Genesee Street and Books Avenue on Friday morning. The crash, involving only one car, happened around 1:45 a.m. When Rochester Police arrived, the driver was standing outside the car and wasn’t injured.
Plane used for Air Force Two lands at Rochester airport

Police: Two men stab each other during fight on South Avenue
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say two homeless men stabbed each other during a fight on South Avenue. Neither have life-threatening injuries, police said. Police today responded to the state parole office at 350 South Ave. at about 3:40 p.m., as a person had walked up to the office and told parole officers he had been stabbed and needed an ambulance. Police said they learned a second person had been stabbed in the area of 390 South Ave.

Southwest to launch non-stop flights from Upstate NY city to Las Vegas
Southwest Airlines is launching a new non-stop service from Las Vegas to Rochester, New York. The service, which will begin Oct. 3, will be offered four times per week to start, according to an announcement from the county executive of Monroe County, New York. The service will be the first non-stop air service from Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport since 2008.
