BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Bridgeport police officers shot a knife-wielding man in the leg early Thursday morning, police said.

Police said they received several calls around 5:55 a.m. reporting that a man had “dangerous weapons” in the 200 block of Birdseye Street.
