HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WLBT) - Pisgah softball faced elimination in the 2A State Championship at the Southern Miss Softball Complex Wednesday. After pitching a two-hit shut-out in game one on Tuesday, Lucy Cochran took the mound again for the Urchins. However, in just the first inning, the Dragons did what they couldn’t do in game one. With one run already home in the inning, eighth grader Alyssa McMurtrey cleared the fence in right-center, putting Pisgah on top 3-0.
Grilled pizza with ricotta and tomatoes
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Ingredients:. Remove dough from refrigerator about 2 hours before grilling, bring to room temperature. Divide dough into 6 pieces. Stretch balls of dough as thinly as you can either by pulling it or rolling them out. Place on hot grill. If the dough doesn’t start browning in the first minute, cover with lid and grill 2-3 minutes, then uncover and flip the dough using tongs. Do 2-3 balls of dough at a time. When they have finished grilling/baking, smear the tops with ricotta cheese, chopped tomatoes and parsley. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
