News 13 Investigates requested 911 calls made before, during, and after a fatal shooting the day after Thanksgiving in Hendersonville. Authorities say 30-year-old Elijah Timmons III was found with a gunshot to the head outside the Orchard Bar & Grill on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023. One 911 caller reported a fight outside the restaurant. A second call came just after, reporting shots fired and a large number of cars in the parking lot.
Henderson County Sheriff deputy fatally shoots foster dog 3 times, owners say
CANTON - In what started as a response to a 911 call reporting a suspicious vehicle in the early morning hours of Nov. 25, a Henderson County Sheriff's deputy shot and killed an adopted foster dog at its home in the East Flat Rock community, according to dog owners and the sheriff's office.

ASHEVILLE - The Buncombe County Sheriff's office has filed second-degree murder charges against a Candler man after a late-night Nov. 29 shooting killed an Arden man. At approximately 10:22 p.m. deputies with the Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Cherry Tree Drive, near Enka, and found Jeremy Greer of Arden, 41, suffering from a gunshot wound.
