The preliminary information from the FAA indicates the aircraft, a twin-engine Rockwell Commander 695A, crashed above the area of Palm Avenue and Melvin Ave. in the Bailey Canyon mountains of North San Bernardino around 8:21pm on April 13, 2024. The plane was reportedly enroute to Chino Airport from Stockton. The plane reportedly left Stockton Airport around 6:20pm Saturday night.
