LCA's boys claim regional championship behind typical, surprise performances
Two years ago, when the Lafayette Christian Knights’ boys track and field team won the Class 2A state championship, it did so despite not winning their regional meet. So while there isn’t necessarily a correlation between regional and winning state, Knights head coach Brad Sievers hopes that will be the case this year after LCA won the Region II-4A track meet held at Cecilia High on Wednesday.
