A fire and at least one explosion rocked a Comfuel site on Raven Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, sending smoke into the air high enough that it was seen on weather radar.

Multiple Bowling Green Fire Department units were battling the fire, which billowed smoke over the Bowling Green downtown area.

There were reports of people running out of the building and the Bowling Green Police Department was rerouting traffic away from the area.

Smoke was thick enough to be seen on radar, according to wxornotbg.com, the weather organization which provides forecasts to the Daily News.

No other information was immediately available.
