Buff fans can request tickets to Sweet 16 game in New York

DENVER ( KDVR ) — After defeating the Kansas State Wildcats in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, the University of Colorado Boulder women’s basketball team has advanced to the Sweet 16 where they will face superstar Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes.

March Madness is in full swing, and the No. 5 seed Buffs will take one No. 1 seed Iowa on Saturday.

In order for the Buffs to advance to the Elite Eight, they will have to defeat Clark , who is now the career NCAA Division I scoring leader among men and women.

Fans who want to cheer on the Buffs when they head to Albany, New York for the Sweet 16 will have the exclusive opportunity to apply for tickets.

Colorado Athletics said fans can apply for a limited number of tickets up until 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27.

Colorado uses strong second half to take down Kansas State

Tickets cost $60, and fans can apply online for a shot at seeing the Buffs in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

However, submitting a ticket request does not guarantee that all fans will receive a ticket, it simply gives fans the opportunity to obtain a coveted ticket. Requests will be fulfilled based on Buff Club priority ranking.

Fans will be notified by the end of the day Wednesday of their request status.

If you can’t catch a flight to New York in the coming days, you can still support the Buffs when they tip off at 1:30 p.m. MDT on Saturday.
