LOWELL, Mass. (WPRI) — Boston’s new women’s hockey team will play its first-ever playoff game Thursday night against Montreal in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL).

Game 1 of the best-of-five series will be played in Montreal, and there will be at least one playoff game guaranteed at home in front of fans at the Tsongas Center.

Boston finished its first PWHL season with a 8-4-3-9 record, while Montreal went 10-3-5-6.

In the regular season, the two teams split the series.

Here’s Boston’s full schedule:

• Game 1: Boston at Montreal, Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m.
• Game 2: Boston at Montreal, Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m.
• Game 3: Montreal at Boston, Tuesday, May 14, at 7 p.m.
• Game 4: Montreal at Boston, Thursday, May 16, at 7 p.m. (If needed)
• Game 5: Boston at Montreal, Sunday, May 19, at 7 p.m. (If needed)
