The Celtics are four wins away from another trip to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Boston took care of business against the Heat in the first round, defeating a Jimmy Butler-less Miami team in five games. Next up is a matchup with Cleveland, which defeated Orlando to win the franchise's first playoff series without LeBron James since 1993.

The Celtics won't quite be at full strength against the Cavaliers. While Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are all good to go, the team's biggest offseason acquisition, Kristaps Porzingis, is nursing an injury.

Here's the latest on Porzingis' status going into Game 1.

    Is Kristaps Porzingis playing tonight?

Porzingis is listed as out for Game 1 vs. Cavaliers.

Porzingis is dealing with a right soleus strain, which he suffered in Boston's Game 4 win over Miami in the first round of the playoffs. He entered the game averaging 14.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in the series.

Al Horford started in place of Porzingis in Game 5.

The expectation is that the Celtics will be without Porzingis for " a minimum of several games ," making his status unclear for the rest of the playoffs.
