Two people dead after crash in Walton County, GSP says
WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two people are dead after a crash involving a motorcycle in Walton County on Sunday morning, Georgia State Patrol said. According to GSP, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at GA 10 at Youth Monroe Road shortly after 11:30 a.m. A black Harley Davidson trike motorcycle was going east on GA 10, and a Chevrolet 2500 towing a trailer was stopped on Youth Monroe Road.

Burglars target welding helmets at Airgas store in Athens
On the morning of April 16, an employee at Airgas on Commerce Road in Athens arrived for work shortly after 5 a.m. to find burglars had made off with seven welding masks.
