BALTIMORE, MD. (WMBB) – Two local athletes, Liberty County’s Aubrie Arnold and Blountstown’s Alyssa Carey, helped lead their travel volleyball team to a podium finish at USAV Nationals.

Competing with Tallahassee Volleyball Academy, Arnold and Carey took home Bronze at Nationals, which is the highest USAV finish of any Panhandle or Big Bend area team ever.

TVA finished the historic season with a 28-10 record, earning a medal in four out of five tournaments.

Both local athletes will continue their volleyball careers at the collegiate level in the fall, Arnold going to Presbyterian College and Carey going to Coker University.
